World of Warcraft Robot Bot
Battle-Bots: is it possible to build a battle-bot (warrior robot) the size of an army ant? And battle ants?
That might be more fun than World of Warcraft.
Wars of the future could be fought on a miniature scale.
This is certainly possible with advanced in MEMS technology (micro electrical mechanical systems). However, something mechanical the size of ants will still be very hard, since it is so small. But things slightly bigger, like the size of a fly or dragonfly, is much more possible. Check out: http://spectrum.ieee.org/mar08/6017 . This link talks about flying robots the size of dragonflies. Potentially, the army could use them for recon missions.
I suppose you could mount tiny weapons on them so that they can attack each other like in battle bots, but you definitely could not mount any weapon on it that would be useful in a real-life human battefield. Thus, the military is currently only interested in these for recon applications.
