I admit I'm new to WOW but this is the build I'm currently working towards based on how I’ve been playing.
Any advice or criticism is welcomed.
My current strategy is...
Alone
Stealth behind - Ambush - SS - Gouge - Backstab - Eviscerate.
When in a group
Stealth behind - Ambush - Backstab- Backstab - Eviscerate.
At times I throw in a slice and dice or a couple more sinister strikes depending on the situation.
Believe me when I say this your spen will change if you plan on RAIDING in high end instances andor if you will be PVP'n.
But other then that its not that bad of a spec youll just have to learn how to use it.

Which is the better rogue weapon in World of Warcraft?
I was wondering, which is better, Blade of Infamy, or Vengeful Gladiator's Slicer? My build is Combat Swords - 19/42/0.
oooh, choices choices....
Both are awesome swords. So, which one would be better for you kinda depends a little on your current gear. If you arent capped in hit rating, or dont have a high crit %, you might want slicer. Technically thott has the slicer as a higher rated weapon....
However...
I really like the Blade of Infamy. That 28 agil is nice, and the potential for white damage is a little higher (339 vs 322). You also get more attack power out of it. And what is up with ignoring '49 armor' on the slicer? To me, thats almost negligible....and as a rogue I dont have a lot of armor to begin with, but I sure wouldnt sweat 49 one way or the other. On a boss, or someone wearing plate? Almost laughable..
I suppose another thing to think about is what you'll be doing with it. Mostly PvE? Or PvP? I dont worry much about resil in raids for obvious reasons. If I'm tanking as a rogue, then something has gone very, very wrong...obviously you do a nice bit of both PvE and PvP or those 2 particular weapons wouldnt be available to you...is there one that you do more?
IMO, depsite the lack of bells and whistles, I'd go Infamy. But like I said, your current gear might make a difference too. Ask your guild's top rogue, or the advice of another rogue who knows your gear and playstyle. see what they have to say.
